Terms of Service
Last updated: June 21, 2026
Welcome to CalcRecipe. By accessing or using https://calcrecipe.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. CalcRecipe provides AI-assisted recipe scaling, volumetric-to-metric conversion, and educational culinary content for professional and home kitchens. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
Acceptable Use
You may use CalcRecipe to parse recipe text, scale batch sizes, and read published articles in the Chef's Vault. You agree not to misuse the platform by attempting to disrupt our servers, scrape content at abusive rates, reverse-engineer proprietary systems, or use the tools for unlawful purposes. The admin CMS area is restricted to authorized operators only.
Calculations and Culinary Disclaimer
CalcRecipe uses artificial intelligence and density tables to convert volume measurements into gram-based weights. While we strive for professional-grade accuracy, ingredient density varies by brand, humidity, and preparation method. Always verify critical formulations—especially allergen-sensitive, pharmaceutical, or high-risk food service batches—with your own quality control procedures. CalcRecipe is not liable for kitchen outcomes, food safety incidents, or financial losses resulting from reliance on scaled outputs.
Intellectual Property
The CalcRecipe brand, site design, software, and original editorial content are owned by CalcRecipe or its licensors. Recipe articles published in the Chef's Vault may include proprietary formulations developed for commercial kitchen use. You may reference scaled outputs for your own kitchen operations, but you may not republish full articles or redistribute the service as a competing product without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
CalcRecipe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or zero if you use the free public tools.
Changes and Contact
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Questions about these Terms may be submitted via our Contact.
